Mailboxes ... what a pain. I wrote several articles about kids doing that to mailboxes once ... happened over a period of months!! The bad thing is, they kept tearing up mailboxes as fast as they were replaced. I thought it was awful but then memories came rushing back ... there was a "game" we played as teenagers - throw a bottle out of the car window to see if you could hit the mailbox. /*juli hangs her head in shame!!*/

I had all kind of computer concerns yesterday - got this one limping along but it isn't hitting on all 8 cylinders.
Here is a wild one !!!!! I fell asleep Sat. night with 40 laps left in the race. I woke up between 3 - 4 am ( my usual for some unknown reason ) and read that Edwards won. ( Yippee) anyone but 'shrub'.
I still had the Tv on ESPN and saw the "post race highlights"
I went to lunch with my parents (their 50th anniv.)
I came home and started working on this other computer....... got disgusted - Ok - here we go .... I went into the kitchen ( prob to get a glass of wine - well I am sure it was ) there was a 'Rugby' match on TV ------ not being a Rugby fan I surfed about 2 channels and it showed "Nascar Racing" - I went there and ESPN was running the race again and guess what ???????
They had 40 laps to go -- exactly where I fell asleep the night before.
Ole Shrub didn't take it very well ( Shine laughs at Shrub )

Beckett was developing another ear infection and I also wanted the vet to check out some cloudiness going on with his eyes, so he had an appointment this afternoon. She found a spot on his eye that she isn't sure about and referred him to a veterinary ophthalmologist but the first available appointment is Oct 7 so I'm just worrying about it.
