Civility is something that everyone seems to want but not bad enough to give it a try. Some people seem to think civility is boring and therefore drama seems to be more entertaining. It is no wonder all the drama reality shows are such a big hit in America....

I have gone through life as some would say a basketball bouncing along with the bumps in life's road. Society has been changing and evolving while earth's life has been changing so whose to say how far it will go or how many years there are left before evolution changes again? I think I have adapted fairly well in my years. I have accepted and embraced many a change that has been shared in our society but the one belief that does not waver is the personal faith I carry inside me. It is mine and mine alone and it is what has pulled me up out that rut I fell in along the way.
I also wish to add that I do my best to speak civil on golo but if I have offended anyone it may not of been intentional, so let me know and we will see if it can be better understood. letting things fester does not free oneself from the poison.

Looks like you've been under the weather lately, and I hope you are better soon. I been getting flu shots for years and no problem except a sore arm.
Wanted to let you know that this month PBS is doing a series about the 1930s, politics, culture, the Dust Bowl and other stuff. It's called American Experience and is on Mondays at 9:00pm. On the 23rd is an episode on Seabiscuit, which I think is a favorite of yours. Their website is www.pbs.org.

I agree with you 1000% I stopped many years ago voting along party lines. I found out it was stupid of me to wast my vote. I now vote on reputible character and the heart of the candidate for the people. We need reps in office that have passion for the people and not fat pockets for fundamental lobbyists that push their own agenda and ignore WE THE PEOPLE..... Our first great president said The White House is the Peoples House. Today that does not stand treu anymore. I too am scared to see where our Great Nation will be in say 5 years from now.
