John's cremation was today so I said a little prayer. I picked out a beautiful urn for him and another for his dad. It weighed heavily on his heart that he still had not taken care of his dad. He still grieved over him and unsure what he wanted to do. So I took care of both of them. I may go back and get another for me so that evrything will be ready when my time comes.
Anyway just wanted ya'll to know that I am hanging in there. Today I was wondering what do you do after 18 years with someone, being alone again. I am sure that I will find my way.

Everything you do from now to the day you die, your father will know, and if you cry and fall apart, imagine how he would not be honored, and feel like he let you down, but if you live honoring him, as the Bible commands, "honor thy mother and father," then he will be honored in Heaven. He never stops being your father. You already know without saying what he would say. When you say the Lord's prayer as in Matthew 6:9, and you say, "Our Father" then you will be including your father who is with God when he passes.
