Now living in Youngsville. My occupation was International Import/Export Customs Regulations/Law for 26 years. Took a very early Retirement. Do need to find a part time job though. To much time on my hands.
Take it one day at a time.
I have been through so much over the past 2 years including the death of my father, if you knew everything I've been through, you wouldn't believe it. The most important thing I've learned over the past 2 years is no matter what you have been through there is alway's hope and friendship.
Treat people the way you would want to be treated.

Cooler weather coming! I am glad in a way to see the awful heat go away, but I hate to lose the light. It's already harder to get up in the morning, and it's now dark by 7:00pm.

No, no more baby finches but the ones I have are sooooo cute. I guess the other eggs aren't going to hatch. That's kind of sad. I'm really excited about the tank --- I can see the fish!!
We have power lines down here and the fire/pd depts don't know why. It's really strange. The roads are blocked as you come over the bridge and it's difficult for anyone to get on or off the island and that has to be done through the state park.
Hope your headache goes away!

Talking about the boat on the river.. not to far from me. I use to float in different places from Rocky Mount to Tarboro and search for artifacts. I had a huge collection of sharks teeth, whale bones, Indian pottery and relics. I found a "complete" Indian pipe made of clay and wood on that river. I may go down Saturday and see what I can see. I have a airboat, but it is in between engines right now and just another project I have not gotten to. I bought it for the reason of running up and down the river to my favorite places. A canoe is fun it is just to slow going... but I spent a many of hours in one going from sandbar to sandbar.
