Now living in Youngsville. My occupation was International Import/Export Customs Regulations/Law for 26 years. Took a very early Retirement. Do need to find a part time job though. To much time on my hands.

Take it one day at a time.  

I have been through so much over the past 2 years including the death of my father, if you knew everything I've been through, you wouldn't believe it. The most important thing I've learned over the past 2 years is no matter what you have been through there is alway's hope and friendship.

Treat people the way you would want to be treated.

Then you are a genetic freak as well, my friend. Have you ever noticed how most people think ferrets really stink -- except for those who own ferrets? Or how some houses are completely overwhelmed by the smell of cat urine and you can't understand how anyone could live with that smell? They don't smell it, or at least no where near as strongly as someone who does. But their sense of smell is completely normal in terms of being able to detect odors. They just smell them differently, though I think with the ferrets they really can't smell it because they don't have the receptors for the specific pheremone that ferrets give off.

Good morning John, You must get up early or get up and instantly become wide awake. I wasn't particularly fond of getting up early this am but an employee had a problem and saw no problem in waking me at 7 am. And that one was followed by another one -- they have no respect for sleeping people! And I want to go back to bed but this day is going to be a busy one so it's best to get started with it.

So, are you going to Iowa? When will you be leaving? (assuming you are going to go :))

Okay, now I've had three more problems with employees since writing this. One would never know that I work from home ...

Okay, emails received, emails sent! Now, I'm going to try to get started on making a dent on the mountain of work for this day. I'm going to be gone most of tomorrow -- doctor's appt out of town -- so that day will be shot. Allergies, allergies, allergies --- what one has to go through to live with cats and dogs! Allsion my house in Calif closes on Friday. Money Transfer will be made to my bank account the same day. I guess you will know what I'll be doing this weekend. I need a dinning room set - I need new Master Bedroom Furniture except for the bed. I left the dressers and night stands behind. Needed to be replaced anyway so no since paying for moving on junk huh? I'm thinking of even buy a new SUV. Maybe another Escape or Mazda Tribute or even a Highlander Toyota. Those look a lot like the 330 Lexus. One I would really like to have but to rich for my blood. My Escape is a 2002 and is in excellent condition but I'm leaning towards getting a brand new car. All the other money will go into a saving Money Market Fund at Wachovia. Then I need to put some money aside for upcoming taxes. I know the first 250K on the house is not taxable but anything over that is.

Hey Panther.... Just got back from the beach. The Red and White is no secret.... We go and get some everytime we have a family cookout - We will usually grill about 3 feet of the hot and eat it while we are cooking. Been doing it for 25 + years. Don't ever go on a holiday weekend because the parking lot will be full and every trunk is open and coolers everywhere. I met "campost2007" at the seafood festival, and her husband. She is a wonderful, beutiiful lady, gave her a "real" Shine hug instead of a GOLO. Great people John ! I told "Mary" that we should take the "circle of friends" and maybe meet at some place, not the Angus Barn, and everyone can put a face with a name. Thanks, Charles

Mary ( Camphost ) and I hit it from the start.... What a great person and her husband comes within 3 miles of my house several times a week. Panther, we need to keep the network working. It will be us that makes this a place to communicate. I am sorry for your loss of a friend. I think your idea is great. It is not that much of a tread for me - you have to remember I was a truck driver. Going up and down and windshield time is nothing but an opportunity to meet friends. After all I use to leave my house at 10 or 11 in the morning and drive to Floridia to eat suppper, spend the night and drive back in the morning. Raleigh, Youngsville, - - - - I use to drive to Charlotte and do some work and be back at the house before 10. Let me know I think It would be a good thing if we could put it together in Dec. I will help.

I needed a Dr. Pepper and cat food! I'm very careful --- thanks! I go everywhere by myself, just something I'm used to doing, no matter the time. Almost everything on the beach closes down early now so I had to drive into Wilmington to get it. Scotchman store are open here but they don't have the cat food my cats eat and since I'm going to be gone tomorrow and can't get it, I had to go tonight. I'm reading your email and will respond shortly.

I am sooo excited about your visit! Everything sounds just great! No, it won’t be cold. Okay, I’m a beach bum and Beck and I go knee deep in the water ALL winter. Oh yeah --- that smoking thing not going past the third floor --- fire codes. Honey, we will go to gift shops. I never have anyone to go anywhere with! Fort Fisher has a wonderful aquarium. They closed a few years ago for quite a while for renovations and during that time I went behind the scenes to write several newspaper articles. It was neat because most of the creatures were in holding tanks instead of their natural habitats and I was able to touch many of them.

You’ll need a week here instead of two days! I’m already planning where we’ll go.

I want to meet you sometime along with some others on Golo. I have met so many people here I feel so luckly sometimes to have such carring friends that I have not met yet. You can't imagine the angar I'm feeling right now over that ex-wife and her family. Really who does she think she is. She's an ex and not a blood relative. Linda's Mom is in Caifornia and can't go to be with Linda in Iowa. Her Mom is to old to travel and Linda's other two kids (of course grown now) won't be going either. Why becausee their to selfish to think about anybody but themselves. Anyway thanks for being such a good friend. We'll meet sooner or later. I look forward to that.

I was bored out of my mind today waiting for my friend to go through his surgery. Waited for about 5 hours and they wouldn't allow me to leave. I wanted to go waste some time shopping but the office told me it was procedure that a designated driver must stay on site when a patient is going through day surgery.

I just saw your beautiful animals in your gallery. Makes me want more, but I'll have to settle with my two cats, Boots and Maggie. Hubby said no more animals, but if I were to bring home a dog or cat he would fall in love all over again!
