Now living in Youngsville. My occupation was International Import/Export Customs Regulations/Law for 26 years. Took a very early Retirement. Do need to find a part time job though. To much time on my hands.
Take it one day at a time.
I have been through so much over the past 2 years including the death of my father, if you knew everything I've been through, you wouldn't believe it. The most important thing I've learned over the past 2 years is no matter what you have been through there is alway's hope and friendship.
Treat people the way you would want to be treated.
The picture of the kitty is Zoe Raine. Persian. See attachments. Updated Pictures Oct 22nd.

Mysteries and suspense? My favs! But sometimes I get scared, real scared. The daybed sounds comfy and I'm sure it is extra special since it was your Dad's. I'm sure you don't have much leftover space sharing it with Sophie and Madison. That's strange that Zoe isn't afraid of the broom or vac. Can't wait to see pics of her!

Yes, you told me your friend was coming and that is neat! Once in a great while I go on a gambling boat out of Little River, SC but not too often. Someone else I know goes there about five nights a week some weeks.

You've been on the same boat in Little River? It is pretty neat, if you don't get sick. I get sick easily and a couple of times I went on it, it wasn't fun. That was a funny story about picking up bottles! Oh yeah, five times a week is a little too much.
I'm glad you got the rain. I don't know how much we had today but water is still standing in the streets and parking lots. Tomorrow is supposed to be the last day of rain!

I hope you were able to sleep last night? Are you getting your nieces this weekend? I was going to work in the yard before I actually start to work on all the billing I have to do but it's just started to rain again. Funny, it isn't showing up on the radar.
Hope you have a beautiful day!

Good idea about buying the kid a bag of candy, unless it's chocolate, then I'll eat it! I love the state fair. Foggy mornings? I love the fog. That's one of my most favorite things about the beach - many mornings when you walk along the oceanfront in the winter, you can only see a short distance because of the fog. My sidewalk and streets are always damp with seaspray in the early mornings - I love that.
I'm going to jump back in and out and check on the game today, like I really know what I'm doing. I hope they win, just for you.

Okay --- despite my lack of patience (I have very little) I'll wait on the tank and do all the things you are telling me to do. I think it's been about a month since I used that stuff. I'll add more this afternoon.

I'm sorry --- forgot to answer the catfish question. No, I don't. You told me to get some before but Petsmart did not have any at the time and tried to convince me to buy algae eaters. I found a new pet store, not a fish store, but they do sell fish and I'll try to run there tomorrow and get some. Six, you say? Are they going to get large? Will I have enough room in that tank for six?
Okay, I know when I'm being ignored. It's after 1 o'clock.......

You can root the camilla. Tell her to pick a stem about a foot long. STrip off the leaves from the lower half. Rub ROOTONE on the bottom half. Jam it into potting soil. Keep moist. Do this with about 6 different stems or pieces. You can put them all into the same small pot. At least one of them will take root. After she has a root system going, she can mail it to you wrapped in something to keep it moist. You will have your Dad's camilla in a few years. This method works best in The Spring, but there is a good chance it would work now.

John, I'm so sorry about Gabe. I don't know, sweetie, when it's going to stop. I'm not sure about God testing us, I guess He does. We're told He doesn't put anymore on us than we can take but there have been times in my life, as I'm sure there have been in yours, that I've wanted to say, "Whoa, God, that's enough - I can't take anymore." May God bless and be with Linda. I know a warm hug from you would help her heartache. I'm really sorry about your uncle.

When I was in grade school, there was an experiment that teachers used to do. There was a chemical, and I can't even remember the name of it now, where the ability to taste it (or not taste it as the case may be) was genetic. And if you could taste it, it apparently was so bitter that it was almost unbearable. I was one of the ten percent or so that could not taste it.
I can not roll my tongue or wiggle my ears. But I do have hairy earlobes and blue eyes. And my second toe is the same length as my big toe. Oranges are not sweet to me. Tear gas does not affect me. All those are genetic traits that are almost pure recessive/dominant in nature.
I guess the smell of skunk is another one. There is one smell, though, that I can not stand. It makes me vomit. It is some type of bush that my wife thinks smells sweet.
