Thanks very much for the suggestions!!

Brian join my coffee group! I need your endorsement lol,

Just dropping by to say hey!

Brian, did you hear about the Golo get together coffee party on Saturday, well some of Goloers will get together on Sat after the parade. Just to let you know!

I have been considering a cruise during the holidays and ran across this video

http://www.break.com/index/are-we-having-fun-yet1.html

whats happening on 540 around Lumley road right now

Hagar...sorry I didn't get your message in time! You can e-mail me at bshrader@wral.com next time.

Brian, Thought you might enjoy reading this article that came out in the Wilson Daily Times today!

http://www.wilsondaily.com/Life/Story/Parker-s-famous-near-and-far-- Your friend Sharon from Wilson

Fantastic article! Some amazing Parker's stats from the article:

"During an average week Parker's will cook about 150 pigs, 8,000 chickens, 35 gallons of oysters, 200 pounds of shrimp and 400 pounds of flounder and use some 600 gallons of cottonseed oil for frying.

"Historically, Mother's Day is the biggest serving day of the year at Parker's when more than 12,000 plates are prepared, which calls for 45 pigs and some 5,000-6,000 chickens.

"Memorial Day is generally the biggest weekend, when 72 pigs are cooked over the three-day holiday."

Merry Christmas, Brian!. Glad to see you're getting that singing career off the ground...will be looking for more hits in 2009!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Happy New Year Brian!!!! I hope that 2009 brings you good health, good luck, and free flowing freeways!!!

Hey, Brian,

I saw this, and thought you might like it.... check out this montage made by someone over in Portland, Oregon showing difficulties on a snowy sloped road. Notice the changing sun angle, and how it affects the success rates of the motorists attempts at climbing the hill. Yet, some still don't get it.

Brian, A pat on the back for the wonderful job you did earlier this week in telling about the traffic during the snow storm. Also, like your commercial for WRAL-TV channel 5! You know you're a celebrity when the personalities start doing commercials! It's always good to see you in the morning...even since I live in Halifax County! I take I-95 to work so at least if something major happens, you will know it and tell it to us! Thanks for a job well done!

Ernie, thanks for your nice note! We're happy to know you're out there!

Hey Brian! I remember your blog about your home made tv antena the other week. I had made a comment on it that I was planning on blogging other great PVC ideas. Well, I did! I hope that you will check it out, and comment...

http://www.wral.com/golo/blogpost/4705528/

From your blog about your homemade antenna, you said you spent $30-$40!

Although this sounds like a great weekend project and an excuse to spend time with our son's (maybe even a boy scout project), I would just like to mention that I have an antenna I got at the dollar store about 5 years ago; in North Raleigh I am picking up about 60 analog and digital stations...I realize that analog will soon be turned off, but the majority of what I pick up ARE digital! Also, antennaweb.org is a great place to learn what stations are in what direction...even gives you a street level map...I use this all the time, since I work for one of the leading manufacturers of antennas.

Great link, Timbo!

Brian - thanks for the info on Fuquay celebrating it's 100. We were wondering if they were going to do something more special than hanging up just the little decorative flags. Have a good day!

You forgot "Cute little traffic boy"! I'm sure that was meant as a compliment. You guys really hear a variety of comments, I'm sure.

"How's THAT for a shameless plug?! :)" -- LOL! I'd do that if I could, but I don't use my cell phone much (especially not while in the truck). That's why I stick with the cheapest plan Sprint offers (no web, no texting, no cool stuff like that). My total usage last month was less than 10 minutes. How's that for cheap and anti-social? I do have the radio tuned to WRAL-FM, though, for the commute. At least I'm keeping it in the CBC family!

Brian, i never knew these things about you.... lovin BBQ, country music, lovin Andy G reruns, and being kind of an eclectic kinda guy,,,,, send me a comment and we can talk about HOLLERIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(serious voice) Mr. Shrader... what happened to Live@ today?

I can't find the video anywhere! I did see a link, but it took me to a blank image.

No problem, Brian. It's technology -- that pretty much explains it all! One question, though... what's up with that big B on the desk? B for Brian? And where in the world do you find a B that big? The chair from a yard sale, I can believe... but that B must have been swiped from somewhere. I mean, I just can't imagine anybody having random 3 foot letters in yard sales. Unless it was a Big Lots. Or Brendle's!

Who would have thought you'd have to "rob a bank" for its letters?! At least it was closed, I guess. There's not much you can do with a Papa Johns sign!

Thought you might have occasion to use this (teeheehee):

how ya bizzzzz? for chizle manizzle

YES!

Hey Brian, you might want to put this on the map, there is a huge pig in the road (RT 40 East @ MM 318) with two trucks involved in the accident
