Thanks for commenting on the Mushrooms, make sure you try them.

Brian when you get a chance check out my family history blogs, & let me know what you think!

Will do, Historians.

Hey Brian! I'm in Greece posting from an internet Cafe! Whatsup in Raleigh!

Good for you! You'll have to come back and post a blog on Golo about your trip! Stay safe.

Ah, you know of Parkers bbq? You're in my neck of the woods now. Great isn't it?

I love Parker's. Mmmmm. Family-style. Bowl after delicious bowl. Corn sticks. Brunswick stew. I'm about to get on 64 East, if I don't stop writing about it.

(FYI..I like Bill's, too!)

Hey Brian, So how long have you lived in Fuquay? We've been here for nearly 15 years... back when there was very little traffic. The traffic gets really old! I wish there was more here for teens to do as well. Have a great weekend and thanks for checking my profile!

Hey, NCNative. I've lived in Fuquay all my life. You know that shopping center with Guardian Angel and Family Dollar? I remember when that was the only shopping center in town. That was the northern-most part of Fuquay! The thrift store there used to be a Big Star grocery store. When they built Sunset Plaza with Food Lion and Roses, we thought we were in high cotton!

Yep -- traffic can be a mess. I think the all those concrete traffic medians they've put on Sunset Lake and Academy are really, REALLY annoying. Maybe the folks making those decisions should play Sim City first? I also wish Fuquay were a little more pedestrian-friendly. I'm not too far from downtown, but walking down Wake Chapel Road across the railroad tracks is -- uh -- not leisurely.

All that said, I love Fuquay! I live on the Varina side, and I hope those new shops there on Broad Street do well.

When we moved here Guardian Angel was Harris Teeter! We really wanted to live in Fuquay so as a very young couple we rented an ollllld block house (it was gross) from a lady named Doris Snead over in Varina. Then a few years later we grew up and bought a house off Wagstaff. My son was almost 2 when we first moved here and now he's going on 18 years old. He's almost a Fuquay Native. One plus of Fuquay is the schools. We've had pretty good experiences. There were barely any good shops in Varina when we lived there. The busiest store was Stephen's! You are right about it not being pedestrian friendly. It's not even driver friendly over there. They really need to put up some lights in front of the high school. Sometimes when I run my son to school it takes me over 45 minutes. He could walk there faster!Do you remember when the yellow chinese restaurant had the best BBQ in town? I was in line at the pick-up window every Friday night! Out of space will talk to u later! Thanks for fond memor

I don't mean any disrespect to you or your wife (gf) but you are adorable!

Brian, I would like your comments on my don't feed the trolls blog.

http://wral.com/golo/blogpost/1647821/

"I like it!"

Were you just quoting Chevy Chase from "Modern Problems"?

Hmmm... I'll have to add that one to my Netflix queue and get back to youeue.

Good morning Brian! If you have time drop by & read my latest blog with a story & poem that I wrote, it's titled:"The miracle that happened at Sonic Drive-In"

Didn't even have to think about that, did you?! A friend of mine ran into Shatner at a bar once, and I think that was one of the highlights of her life (or at least of that year). Thanks for commenting on my blog.

Thanks for reading my story Brian, I always look forward to your opinion my friend. Have a great day!

Hi, Brian! Thanks for you comment on my blog post. As for me, I love winter!! It really doesn't get cold anymore. We have a couple of nights when it might get 'boo-chilly', but, it really isn't cold anymore. Maybe I have good personal insulation that helps keep me warm. I'm sure Home Depot would love to have it!! LOL Again, thanks for your comment.

Starting around November and lasting through most of March, I'm perpetually freezing. I'm constantly cold in buildings at all times of the year.

This newsroom is usually chilly. When I leave at 4 p.m. each day, I usually don't turn on the air conditioner until I get to Cary. I have to thaw out.

Ninety degrees is fine with me! ;)

Glad u liked the vids! Look foward to seeing them on tomorrow!!

you are so funny.

I watch you everyday on the noon news, I always look forward to you telling me what the most popular stories are.

Thanks very much, Fuquay Resident! I appreciate you watching! ;)

Hey Brian ... just posted the first selection for the GOLO Book Club at www.wral.com/golo/blogpost/1698261/. Hope you'll be able to participate!

sorry it took me so long to respond!!! but we stayed on the Blue Ridge Park Way i think the town was Fancy Gap.. it was lovely!!

Don't forget the posts from Cuz. There plenty to read.

i know what you mean about thawing out - my house is so cool most of the time I have to go outside to thaw out. The house got up to 81 on the hottest day last week couldn't believe it.

Weekends are always what I wait for. Usually my wife and I are inseparable. This weekend was a little different. She stayed home while I went to a pool party. I crave another meeting of the GOLO family. The party was the first of many family reunions to come. To all who participated, a great big LUV YA!

Brian, do you ever eat at Allen & Son?

Spartacus: I haven't eaten there, yet! I'll have to head up there. Is it good?

What a profile! yea and it's true.

It is great! Take 40West, exit at Hwy 86, and turn to the right (north). It will be about a mile down the road on the left. They are open Wed. through Sat.

I'll let you know what I think, Spartacus. Thanks for the tip!

You can post on this issue, do it like Dolly did.

Well, as an on-air staffer, I don't give opinions on anything that I may have to report about.

ROFL @ your comment about the "bridges" issue. I agree, good luck with that one. You can't avoid them and I get that funny feeling in my stomach...

Hey, Brian!! It's Tuesday, what's up? I'll see on TV in a little while!!

I'm standing up here on the set, getting ready to be on TV, Ernie! Glad to know you're out there watching! We appreciate it.

Brian; I remember you at WEEB. Hope you have had a good life. Are you in radio now? keep in touch

100! What's my prize?

Brian, watch this when you get a chance: http://www.happyvideo.info/funny-video-perfect-husband/

Sue -- you get the satisfaction of a job well done. Thanks! ;)

Thank you! I think I am going to enjoy talking with you all on GOLO. Have a great weekend!

hey Brian- I'm watching this morning!

Love to geocache, too!

This was my first geocaching experience -- it was fun!

Thanks Brian!! Spending a whole $5 on one person at one time would make the place close up because they wouldn't know what to do with that kind of money!! I always like your comments on my blogs!

Hi Brian :) Just wanted to say that you do a great job with your blog. I enjoy reading it every day. Your interviews are very interesting to watch as well. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Argentina ;)

Go say hello to My Aunt for me- Vicky Murry- Great lady!

You started only three months before me? I thought you were an old-timer!

I am, if you add my previous time! ;)
