I know the question about immigration status must have been an annoyance, but it is a very ‘human’ question.
Unfortunately most folks are not comfortable with exceptional skill or performance in another person; they will look for any excuse to denigrate those superior accomplishments. I feel like this is just an example of that tendency.
And, even the most isolated of people must admit that illegal immigration has become a real problem....
Myself, when I see someone excel like Marisol, I don’t really CARE about their immigration status. That individual, unlike many others of lesser tenacity is going to add to our society rather than detract. I only wish there were more like her.
And even more, I wish that native AMERICAN kids would follow her wonderful example.

CarolinaHome - Willhawill or whatever that troll is, is just that, a troll. They chose to ignore it as to not change the tone of the blog. This is not the first time that it said something in reference to Preachs kids. It is best to ignore comments like that since it incites US and it changes the tone of things. The bottom line is that remark didnt deserve a response. It was juvenile and stupid. And so is the person trolling under that id. We all see the stuff that goes on on GOLO. ANd yeah, GOLO is a reflection of the community we live and work in. Some of the same people posting their hateful and vile messages could very well be your neighbor, the guy or woman in front of you at the check out, the person at the speaker box waiting to take your order, the clerk in the store, etc, etc, etc. It just goes to show even though we have come a long way, we still have a very looooooong way to go.

I for one, saw your blog this morning and although I didnt comment on it. I thought it was an amazing video of that little girl!!! Thanks for sharing it with us...Now for the other blog...Sometimes its best to just ignore people like that for obviously they don't really know what they are doing. They choose to ignore the truth and will pay for it in the end.
