After losing sis when she had open-heart surgery, I was so worried about dad having his triple bypass. Of course he was worried even more. I didn't care what it cost to stay and be with him through it all....Once he was sitting up talking afterwards, I was ok leaving him at the hospital.
See, I was the one with him when he found out a few years ago that he had cancer. He was suicidal.
Dad was tuff on me when I lived at home. I cherish the reaps of those rewards today.
I'm so sorry you lost your dad. I hope to leave this earth before I lose mine. Like I said, he is my inspiration.
