I'd suggest you find a book to read while you are on the throne. The pills really clear you out. But there's no pain or bloated feeling. The thing I remember the most was the anticipation of when they were going to take effect, as it took longer than I thought.
The procedure itself was no problem. Seriously. They hooked me up to an IV and when it was time, I got a happy shot that wears off pretty quick. You still need someone to drive you home and no flying 747's.
It was a piece of cake and you even get copies of you bowel if you want. My wife would not let me put them on the refrig.

I can't take Robitussin. Certain cough meds and meds with sedating effects (like Phenegran, or Benadryl by IV) cause me to have something similar to seizures. I am aware the whole time what is going on, but I get uncontrollable arm and leg movements and want to scream and run away from my own body, lol. I forget what it is called, but it is a side-effect of most of those meds and they even have a medical term for it. Daughter gets the same thing and according to my Dr., Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients get it often. I am sticking with an ounce of Wild Turkey in a 20 oz. Dr. Pepper for now, lol. It's working to loosen things up. Wish the old Alka-Seltzer Cold was still available in the old meds, as it used to knock this out PDQ.
