I agree. And I also agree that there are often reasons that we cannot see. I think one of the small, quiet miracles in Golo has been Godbless. She got laid off after working all her life. She got a chance to work in HHS as a temp job, which also ended. But that path, and the job at HHS allowed her to become an independent contractor to care for her autistic brother.
A series of misfortunes lead her to the job perfect for her family. I sometimes think about such a quiet miracle being played out in other homes. I truly hope that you have the comfort, someday, of seeing that all these misfortunes in your own life have led you and your family to a sunnier place, too. I am keeping you in my prayers.

I'm at home now, but heading back to the beach tomorrow. I keep hwy. 55 hot!! I come home long enough to check the mail, write bills, and I'm off and running again! I'll slow down a bit when the weather turns cold!!

Even with all the sales at Food Lion (B1G1, or 2/$3, or 4/$5 or something), I only get one or two of the items, depending on the coupon - they still ring-up as the sale price. Just like those Ken's Dressings -- they were B1G1 free, and I had a $2 off 2 bottles coupon. So not only was I getting a bottle "free" but I got $2 off on top of that. Grand total, 50cents per bottle.

But your absolutely right, not everything is a "deal" at Food Lion. Particularly the produce -- much better to go to a small local grocer or even the Farmer's Market. Same for the meats. You just gotta keep your eyes peeled for the really sweet MVP/coupon matchups.
Or go to Wendy's for the 99c value menu every night. LOL (I've done that before...)
