Many misunderstand what I share because I don't come from a "religious" background; I'm not filled with the doctrine and dogma of churches which is sometimes right, but is often wrong.
I didn't learn The Bible at the knee of some preacher who told me what it said (or what his order told him to tell me that it said). I took Biblical research classes to learn how to study The Bible so I could read it for myself - so that I could learn what God inspired holy men to speak, not what others have determined, rightly or wrongly, that He inspired those holy men to say.
What I share sometimes doesn't align with mainstream Christian religions which often wrongly teach Biblical scripture and precepts.
If you find yourself puzzled or disagreeing with what I'm sharing, pick The Book up and study it for yourself - really study it like 2 Timothy 2:15 above says, so that you to may learn how to rightly divide the word of truth.
I know what I know, not what someone else told me to know.
I urge you to go and do so also.

I had a friend who's wife went off like this woman. And she threatened to take the kids and basically hide out in Western NC with "like minded" people. He knew he would never be able to find her. So he stayed with her. Stupid him. But that's another story.
Essentially, my friend's wife joined a group of christian fundamentalists who had little if any education and she bought into it, hook line and sinker. His wife was molested by her father, as were her sisters and brother. Her father went on to molest the children of his new family after he divorced her mother, who, in my opinion, did nothing to protect her children.
I'd bet my bottom dollar that this woman in the story is also damaged goods and probably was also molested by a close family member.
I hope these kids can get out of the situation their mother is trying to put them in. It's sad. Very sad.

Intuition. IMHO, She's got deep seated problems.
That being said, you think he had *NO* idea he would have to pay child support when they separated/divorced? Of course he did. It appears that during that time she's gone off the deep end, and like a parent who is concerned about his kids, he's done something. I suppose that you would prefer he just opt out like a significant number of men? I don't think you would. But I think if she had joined a witches coven or something simiilar, you would not say the same thing.

Your comment DID post on the blog about welfare for politicians. However, for whatever reason, as I was editing the blog as Morsdeus suggested, suddenly it was posted TWICE. I tried to go in & get rid of one, and after another computer glitch editing the one with the comments, I just gave up on it and put up something new.
No doubt there were nasty comments coming, and I'm not in the mood.

LMBO Rev! I usually don't get involved in the squabbles, but you crack me up so much, lol. And I agree with you. The point is even if they are lying, all should be treated as if it is true. I had a restraining order on my ex and at the time his lawyer asked if he could place one on me also...I had no problem with that as I never bothered him. Just led my own life as best as I could and raised our 2 children. He broke in on me one morning around 6 a.m. when I opened my door. I had him arrested. He got out and went straight back to my place and put a note on the door. Judge actually said it was ALL MY FAULT! My lawyers comment was I hope this woman doesn't end up dead and that blame be laid at your feet, Judge. I had to move in with friends and quit my job just to stay away from the jerk.

That is absolutely the truth. I've not ever actually seen it spelled out like that. I'm going to add that to my journal so that I can always remember it. (man, that sounds pretty cheesy. lol...I just like to collect thoughts that mean a lot to me so that later I can go back and read them)
