Many misunderstand what I share because I don't come from a "religious" background; I'm not filled with the doctrine and dogma of churches which is sometimes right, but is often wrong.
I didn't learn The Bible at the knee of some preacher who told me what it said (or what his order told him to tell me that it said). I took Biblical research classes to learn how to study The Bible so I could read it for myself - so that I could learn what God inspired holy men to speak, not what others have determined, rightly or wrongly, that He inspired those holy men to say.
What I share sometimes doesn't align with mainstream Christian religions which often wrongly teach Biblical scripture and precepts.
If you find yourself puzzled or disagreeing with what I'm sharing, pick The Book up and study it for yourself - really study it like 2 Timothy 2:15 above says, so that you to may learn how to rightly divide the word of truth.
I know what I know, not what someone else told me to know.
I urge you to go and do so also.

Thank you for your offer. I had set that blog to private but I am going to open it back up. My MIL will be fine--their house is still livable. Next door (Country next-door) is my SIL. My niece called her boyfirend in Kenly after the tornado went through here. He was hit not long after by a stronger tornado. Maryland Gomez, who died, lived across the street from his family. Her boyfriend was sent to the hospital to be treated for a gash on his arm. His family lost EVERYTHING. They are homeless, they have nothing except the clothes and ruined pictures they saved that morning. I saw Blake today and he looked exhausted. He was there, though, at my SIL (my niece's parents) 25th Wedding Anniversary. I know they could use some help. I'm gonna put a blog out there for some. They're staying with his Grandma right now.
