about rev. rb aka troll magnet
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15
Many misunderstand what I share because I don't come from a "religious" background; I'm not filled with the doctrine and dogma of churches which is sometimes right, but is often wrong.
I didn't learn The Bible at the knee of some preacher who told me what it said (or what his order told him to tell me that it said). I took Biblical research classes to learn how to study The Bible so I could read it for myself - so that I could learn what God inspired holy men to speak, not what others have determined, rightly or wrongly, that He inspired those holy men to say.
What I share sometimes doesn't align with mainstream Christian religions which often wrongly teach Biblical scripture and precepts.
If you find yourself puzzled or disagreeing with what I'm sharing, pick The Book up and study it for yourself - really study it like 2 Timothy 2:15 above says, so that you to may learn how to rightly divide the word of truth.
I know what I know, not what someone else told me to know.
I urge you to go and do so also.

Get the feeling of being a channel for the flow of good.
Think give, and you will receive.
Think of your work as giving.
Think of every relationship as an opportunity to give.
Give to your children.
Give to your neighbors.
Give to passers-by on the street.
Think give.
Give way.

this is where my neighbor is trying to help me get now. i can't seen to ignore anything. and that is bad.I stay in a nervous frenzy worrying over stuff I can't fix. I haven't made that bond yet that helps me but I am so trying to work on it. I got to get more faith. I know it does no good to worry but I hve alwayss been a worry wart. My mama said I was always worrying over everyone and everything even as a small child. There is only one way to overcome it and that is to strenghten my faith.

i gathered that from your posts. and its something i wish more christians did. too many of our folk are kinda blind and ignorant to what else is out there and develop an entirely too xenophobic outlook because of that.
when i was being confirmed, our priests asked us to go out and read about the other religions and denominations and really find out what they were all about. then if we still wanted to be confirmed, he'd do it. he told us "god doesn't seem the type to want blind sheep in his flock."
that kinda rang true with me.
any way...side tracked. i don't always agree with you, but i do like that your arguments/stances aren't exclusively from the pew/pulpit and actually have some logical rationale behind them.

Not trying to rehash old news, but to give you a example of some one getting another chance and God being able to help him. I would really thing that you would understand that. A blog about being light and love should be able to understand this. With out this Love from God, do you think he would have gotten another chance. I really am bothered that you, as a God fearing person would be this way.

God Bless you, but I am really very disappointed in you.

If you earn a combined total (income plus benefits) between $25,000 and $34,000, you may have to pay income tax on up to 50 percent of your benefits. If you earn more than $34,000, up to 85 percent of your benefits may be taxable.
What I was referring to I got directly from the SS website. I was referring to how much you can earn before SS starts taking back part of your SS benefits. They'll get you on earning, then they'll tax you on what you earn. Either way, the SS Admin wins if you try to better your position.

Colonial Baptist Church in Cary http://www.colonial.org/jobseekers/ has one every Monday morning; along with a sermon, there are breakout groups for different industries and networking time afterward. You can get on their website which has job listings. Hope Community Church in Cary has a group which I think meets on Thursday mornings. http://www.gethope.net/ministries.html.
There is also a series of free career-prep courses taught by the Avadon Group. http://www.avad ongroup.com/html/courses.html (darn filter - remove the space between d and o). These are 2-day sessions at various locations (Cary, Zebulon, Raleigh) that you may be eligible to take.
Hope this helps.

The second boy says, "That's nothing. My Dad writes all day too! He scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls his a SONG, they give him $100!"
The third boy says, "I got you both beat. My Dad also writes all day. He scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls his writings SERMONS. He reads them in church, and it takes EIGHT MEN to collect all the money!!!"
Dont say that Con Amor did'nt make you smile today! Have a great day!

Sometimes I think that the only people who have jobs are the ones advising people without jobs how to find jobs. (Does that make sense?!?) If I had a dime for every bit of career advice I've gotten, I would be rich and wouldn't NEED a job.
And it's all so confusing, especially regarding resumes. I've redone mine so often it has holes in it. BTW, Monster and CareerBuilder have good up-to-date articles with information about stuff - like don't put "References Upon Request" on the resume (it's assumed, and every line is needed for important data). Also, the social networking sites, especially LinkedIn.com, are the place to join and create a profile. One speaker at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (another job-seeker support group, which meets Wednesday mornings in Raleigh) went as far as to say some employers won't even look at your resume if you aren't on there, and to list the LinkedIn link on your resume.

Have you exhausted the temp agencies? I thought I saw someone say that the agencies are just instructing folks to email a resume, not bringing people in to interview.
AARP has information directed at Over-50 workers (http://www.aarp.org/nc). There are also places that will train you to do medical coding. And medical transcription is steady work, especially with your typing speed, but you have to know the terms.

Yes, and I found it disgusting that you would kill an animal not for food."
I suppose that you don't trap mice or rats that invade your house? What about bugs? They are animals. Do you eat those when you kill them?
I think not. Most people don't kill vermin and then eat them. Feral cats are vermin.

Actually they are. Wake county will trap and kill them for you.
Please note that I was pointing out the inconsistency of your statement "you should only kill what you eat".
That's not really a reasonable hypothesis. Do you expect people to kill mice, rats, bugs, and other vermin and then eat them? I'm guessing not. It's just unrealistic to expect. Also note that if you drive a car, you kill bugs. I don't suppose you get home and pick them off the grill or bumper and eat them? Of course not.
That being said, the only disagreement we really have is whether feral cats are vermin.
Cats are considered an invasive species. They kill native animals at at very high rate. Their negative impact can be measured. It has been proposed in other states that feral cats have a bounty put on them. I think that's very, very reasonable.
