Many misunderstand what I share because I don't come from a "religious" background; I'm not filled with the doctrine and dogma of churches which is sometimes right, but is often wrong.
I didn't learn The Bible at the knee of some preacher who told me what it said (or what his order told him to tell me that it said). I took Biblical research classes to learn how to study The Bible so I could read it for myself - so that I could learn what God inspired holy men to speak, not what others have determined, rightly or wrongly, that He inspired those holy men to say.
What I share sometimes doesn't align with mainstream Christian religions which often wrongly teach Biblical scripture and precepts.
If you find yourself puzzled or disagreeing with what I'm sharing, pick The Book up and study it for yourself - really study it like 2 Timothy 2:15 above says, so that you to may learn how to rightly divide the word of truth.
I know what I know, not what someone else told me to know.
I urge you to go and do so also.

Sorry I missed yesterday. Was out of pocket and didn't get in front a computer till this morning when I got back to work.
Glad there are no hard feelings. I was just a little taken aback by your comments the other night, especially since you usually handle things like that with a lot of tact. As for me, I usually don't jump in the middle of someone else's mess, either, so I will chalk it up to being either a)sensitive or b) something in the air that night, as I saw a lot of us behaving out of character.

Were you ever able to find a home for your chickens? Did you get my message about if a shelter of some sort came with them, I could take them. I have one acre that is just starting to be used, it's entirely fenced in with hog wire but I have nothing to provide them a shelter with.

I was in CA a for a day or so a few weeks back, on the way to Japan. There are MANY industrial parks with a LOT of vacant buildings. I think this recession thingy has hit them hard ....
But, to the point. You had asked a question: “Don't Californians have anything better to do?”
My very brief answer is: “Apparently not”. At least, not for the moment.
CA is a nice place to visit but I sure wouldn’t want to live there. They do, however, know how to put on one helluva (Grateful) Dead concert. [They’re not Grateful any more ... just Dead]

Good morning my golo family. {{{{hugs}}}}. I am off next week and want to see if anyone wants to meet in Cary for lunch. As far as I am concerned bring kids, we can eat cheap or not. I just want to meet some of you face to face. I like all kinds of food. People start making suggestions.May I enlist the aid of anyone who's done this before? We could even picnic somewhere. ?What do you think? List two days you could come and two places to suggest and let's see what happens!!!Someone reminded me ,somwe people may be going off for the weekend,so Friday may not be good.

At Christmas, the entire front corner of the store is absolutely FULL of homemade candy -- everything from chocolate drops to double dipped chocolate covered peanuts to seafoam candy... Great stuff!
You should visit there around December -- it is one incredible place, and the parking lot is always full.
