I am the Managing Editor of GOLO. I've worked in broadcast, print and online news for 15 years in multiple markets including Cleveland, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. I moved to the area with my family in February 2007 and have had the pleasure of watching this community grow from its infancy.

Funny you ask people to come to you for their complaints and others run all around golo whining about it.
Maybe you need your email up so when someone has a legitimate complaint others won't nose around your profile then run around telling others about it.

I had no idea he was going to get to meet you! We had all planned on going tomorrow afternoon after my son got out of school. We're going to tomorrow's show because we get my step-son this weekend. There were only four tickets and I really don't think an 11 year old would want to go see Sesame anyways! The guy who won our non-working Polaroid TV on eBay (he must know how to fix them--none of the repair guys they sent out could)called this morning and wanted my husband to meet him in Greensboro for delivery. So he decided to knock it all out at one time. It just would not have been a fun car trip with our daughter! :)
Kinda funny he met someone on GOLO first. I'll have to give him a hard time about that! Ha ha ha!

I am curious as to how blogs that redirect GoLoers to external sites which are supported by commercial "click through" advertising and which are also owned by the GoLoer posting the blogs are not a violation of this:
"constitutes or includes unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of unauthorized solicitation;"

I assume they aren't a violation because they're allowed to remain up, but for the life of me I can't understand how they could be viewed that way. They seem to me to pretty clearly violate the rule.
It seems pretty silly to allow someone to post material that directs traffic away from your site and which also enriches the GoLoer posting the material at your expense. Might want to consider getting rid of it?
