I am the Managing Editor of GOLO. I've worked in broadcast, print and online news for 15 years in multiple markets including Cleveland, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. I moved to the area with my family in February 2007 and have had the pleasure of watching this community grow from its infancy.
There is still so much more to come here at GOLO, so stay tuned. I think you're gonna like it here.

I've been thinking of this for a while. I know that according to the terms of service, we are not to advertise business here. But as this site has grown and evolved, I thought it would be nice to have a section - apart from the blogs, but still part of the main page, for business listings. At a time when our economy is in such turmoil, supporting our local community and economy seems like a good idea. A good way to start would be to have a 'GOLO yellow pages' button here where folks could look if they need something.
There could be restrictions about ads and still restrictions about blogging the the common blogs, but for example, I'm looking for garage doors. I know there is a person here to does overhead doors, but I can't seem to find the profile. If there was a 'yellow page' I could find him and perhaps support our GOLO folks.
Just a thought!

I hit abuse every time he makes slanderous personal attacks like this, and consistently, in every instance, nothing is done about it.
