I am the Managing Editor of GOLO. I've worked in broadcast, print and online news for 15 years in multiple markets including Cleveland, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. I moved to the area with my family in February 2007 and have had the pleasure of watching this community grow from its infancy.
There is still so much more to come here at GOLO, so stay tuned. I think you're gonna like it here.

I understand this about GoLo, however was not thinking of that at the time. The same sort of things occur on the news side, so my frustrations are justified, although my approach was less than reasonable :)

Gosh to see what the Soldiers see...a World of only 2 colors...no wonder. It really gave me a whole new outlook for sure. I would have never imagined one man can cause so much damage and hate for people to survive. I could not imagine someone taking my water supply away and not allow me to garden nor grow flowers and trees. Wow!!!

There are people in/on this forum that are going through rough times, losing family members to sickness, fighting cancer and other sickness, worrying about finances, losing their homes, losing beloved fur babies, unemployment and waiting for their soldiers to come home or sending them off to war...
Yet they focus on nonsense!!!!

Obviously, it wouldn't solve all the political stuff, but it would solve the majority of the pettiness that goes on here. Plus if folks knew that they would be held accountable for their alternate profiles, they wouldn't be so willing to troll/harass other members.
Right now, it is a free for all out there. Someone make you mad? No profile, build a new profile and harass them. Log back in as your main character and shine your halo. Problem solved.
Please consider making people accountable for everything that they type--not just the stuff from their main account.

Use the same idea for those that are CONSTANTLY booted and are unable to go back to their "main" profile. They are easily identified because they never change. Just the name changes...the rest remains the same. Friends, tone and mental incapacity to be nice to others.
