I am the Managing Editor of GOLO. I've worked in broadcast, print and online news for 15 years in multiple markets including Cleveland, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. I moved to the area with my family in February 2007 and have had the pleasure of watching this community grow from its infancy.
There is still so much more to come here at GOLO, so stay tuned. I think you're gonna like it here.

another "guess who?" I have been INSPIRED by another GOLOer!!
I have a "guess who" game of my own...with a twist.
The twist is... the GOLOer I'm thinking of shares the various traits below with several others. This GOLOer:
*Preaches the "Gospel" as he/she sees it out of one side of the mouth while frequently blogging/posting nasty comments about others.
*Blogs about the "childish" actions of other while practicing the same.
*Appears to have a need to feel superior to others.

His blog, however, is entirely an exercise in character assassination, and makes no attempt to veil that, as evidenced by the repeated use of my name throughout the blog. Beyond that, he feels it necessary to come onto my profile and use words like hypocrite to describe me. It's pretty difficult not to consider that an attack. Perhaps you just need to explain to him what does and does not constitute personal attacks here at GoLo, so that he might better understand and be a better GoLoer in the future?

these "new and improved" pop-ups are KILLING me.
They pop up in the MIDDLE of the screen, or extend themselves from their usual corner and attack my screen like a horde of flies you just can't shew away!

Thanks for putting the "proud to be a part of GOLO" on the main page, it did not get a lot of hits, but I still feel it is the truth. I have seen several instances where the community of GOLO coming together has really changed the outcome of situtations. I think that is awesome.

Is there any possibility that GOLO will change the way we can upload pictures?? Cause doing it one by one will drive me crazy and I wanted to put up my pictures from our visit to the Dino Trail (THANK YOU FOR THE TIX) and from my visit to Boston. To me, it just seems like one by one isn't very efficient and it would make more sense to have the ability to upload multiple pics at once (like Facebook or Photobucket and the like). Just a suggestion =].
