restoring old farm house
I'm enclosing some pictures of the house we are moving/renovating.
This is one of my favorite features of the house. My mother-in-law has told me that there is no telling how many times fannies have slid down this banister. I'm sure my kids will add their's to the mix!
This is the front of the house as it exists. We are removing the side porce and adding a 'wing' that will be the MBR closet and bath. The wing will be about 1.5 storie and will match the existing wing on the other side. We are then going to add a wrap porch, connecting both wings.
We are raising and changing the roof line on this section of the house. It will be 1.5 stories and will allow access to the garage (that we are adding) bonus room from upstairs.
When we purchased our land, it was all wooded. This made it difficult to really "see" what we had. But we loved the basic layout and the area.
