I just had to brag. My oldest who is 6 years old just got through putting the dishes away that were in the dishwasher. Not only did he do that, he loaded the dishwasher with the dirty dishes from supper and then washed up the dishes that didn't fit. He is such a good little helper to me. I am teaching them to be independent. They already know how to sort laundry and the youngest helped me to wash a load of clothes the other day. Now if I can just get them to clean their rooms. LOL
The oldest will be going to a lock in tonight at church. He is so looking forward to it. The youngest is being a trooper. He wants to go so bad. It is hard when they are so close in age to understand that a year makes a big difference. Well in my case my babes are less than a year.

When dad does laundry, he throws his clothes; blue jeans, white socks, underwear, dress shirts, dish towels from the kitchen and whatever else he has...all into ONE load! Luckily, he doesn't ever get my clothes in with his. Now me on the other hand, I separate darks from whites,& whites get bleach & I use HOT water on them. Everything else I use cold H2O and dress shirts are done separately from jeans, or light colors etc....
