With Borders thousands of miles long its always going to be very difficult to keep illegals out even with the best will in the world.

With tunnels like this they can come back in just as fast as we send them home.
The only effective measure would be removing the incentive to come in the first place.....don't crack down on the illegals....crack down on those that employ them.......

con, it actually involves a lot more than being cold hearted. in those days, there was enough of the american dream to be spread aroudn to all of the immigrants. today, it is not. the american dream is limited. america can't absorb everybody that wants to move here. it has to be limited at some reasonable point, that's why we have the quota systems that we have. if we allowed everybody to move here that wanted to, america would be screwed so bad that all of those people would want to go elsewhere.
they need to return home, take pride in their countries, and improve them from within.

After that, sorry.
That would help do away with those procreating simply to stay on the free money rolls.
God bless.

AMEN!!!
No one who doesn't have a child below school age should be on welfare. PERIOD!!!
Those who have small children, sure - cause often the work they'd get wouldn't cover child care costs.
But if all your kids are in school, no welfare. PERIOD!!!
God bless.

There are those now who will do absolutely anything legal to take care of their families, but they're not being given that chance, because employers too often are saying there are no openings or that they're over-qualified.
And don't say that isn't happening. I've heard it myself more times than I can count in the past year.
God bless.

Regardless of how things were done in the past, Annie Moore got here LEGALLY.
And because she went through Ellis Island, she also had a good physical before being let loose on the general public.
I don't have a cold heart. I just want these people to have to go through the same thing as my grandparents and great-grandparents did, and I don't think that should be too much to ask, nor do I think those expecting it should be called cold hearted.
My grandparents and great-grandparents were proud to learn what they had to in order to get their citizenship. They were proud to learn English. They were proud that they didn't have to hide every time someone slammed a door, after having had to do so for generations in Hungary, Romania and Checholslovakia.
God bless.

That has nothing to do with the ability to find tunnels to stop illegal immigration.
God bless.

AMEN, AND AMEN!!!
But first they have to pass a law making it mandatory for employers to use e-verify BEFORE hiring anyone.
It only takes minutes, and it's free - so why they haven't passed this already is anyone's guess.
God bless.

Many things have changed since the days of Ellis Isl. immigration.
Now, I understand you have a very compelling situation. That doesn't change the fact that our laws should and MUST be enforced.
As to the work that SOME Americans refuse to do, I have a solution for that too! It's called do away with welfare. We have many oxygen theives here on our soil that can do the jobs that would be available once ALL of the illegals are sent home!
