I just can't fathom the rich being the ones who know "All". We are all going down as a society.

Guess it's below your level of thinking HUH.. It means that three years ago low income people on soc security who had medicare qualified for medicaid drugs but no the government said they needed to have prescription drug plan D. they were promised it'd cost them nothing just like medicaid. Within two years those "0" costs have hit those low income senior citizens about 50 extra a month in comparison while the welfare mediaid people never had their costs change. that is what I mean dozzy. It's obama telling the people that he must cut off 500 billion of medicare to help pay for this public option. DUH gan senieos being hurt so don't tell me they can't get sold out

Please... His wife was one of my teachers in high school back in the 1970's when they were just dating. She drove a luxury car to school everyday and had many to choose from. She had a reputation of being a golddigger because she was young and hot and he was bald and rich.
Politicians are criminals that know how to manipulate the system to get out of paying taxes and then raise ours.

I was thinking the same thing. Wonder how much he's got stashed away in the land of chocolate?

How so? They are the very groups who are currently being squeezed out of current healthcare insurance. "The low income who never made any income of their own will be the ones who will benefit the most."
This truly the most bizarre claim of all. Why would their healthcare be different than it is for the rest of us under a public option? They are a big enough voting group that no politician is going to mess with them!.
How is having a healthy population ever a bad thing. Its not as if bad health ever helped someone to work harder......
and the elderly will loose the most benefits of all.

How is it not? If you make something mandetory like taxs, driving to the speed limit etc there has to be penalties for not meeting the requirements. A law without teeth would just be ignored by those unwilling to pay their share

Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:
• Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.
• Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.”
How is this health care reform?

and that is the part that concerns me. i don't think it will be equal health care and the very working poor and middle class will again be shafted. The low income who never made any income of their own will be the ones who will benefit the most and the elderly will loose the most benefits of all. that is a nutshell is what I have against THIS BILL. THIS BILL needs to be passed step by step and not all in one package until we see what the economy really does. Let me ask you something. How do you think we will pay for it if the economy doesn't pick up and we don't get these jobs that are coming? Do you think the senators will reduce their salaries to pay for it, give up their savings? I don't think so. They will lengthen the time frame to have work done and they will reduce more benefits of this so called THIS BILL as it is written now. Just a few votes to deny something they can't afford..

Not really. It just ensures that much further that only those with substantial means will be able to hold office.
