cruelty to amphibians

When I saw this small, micro aquarium in the local Brookstone store, I was appalled. IMHO, it is absolutely cruel to have 2 frogs and a snail in such as tiny tank. Plus, the instructions in the package are so inadequate in teaching the owner about conservation and proper caring of aquatic amphibians. You need at least a gallon of water for the small frogs, with suitable biodiversity in the tank.
It is very disappointing that Brookstone is promoting such cruel products in selling frogs, since they are being treated like objects to put on a shelf like a book. Frogs should be treated with respect and cared for accordingly. High recommend visiting your local “real” aquarium to learn how to care for frogs before having one as a pet.
And no, I am not a member of PETA or any other animal-rights organization.
Would you buy one of these from Brookstone? If so, what is your opinion in having these frogs as your pets in such a tiny habitat?
