>...the suspect in the killing of four men outside a Mount Airy TV store was in the U.S. illegally and had been deported once...after serving 1 1/2 years in prison sentence for a kidnapping of a minor conviction then another 7 months for violating his parole.<
The estates of the four dead men, and the kidnapped minor should be allowed to collect civil damages from the US Government, State of NC, Surry County, and city of Mt Airy, all of which has failed to protect the public by not seeking to enforce existing laws that would have kept the killer from being in Mt. Airy to begin with.
The government is beyond negligent, it is complicit.
Direct all triades toward the government and repeat offenders, not those illegals here doing what they are allowed to do fairly openly.

Seems we could all agree with deporting and seeing that criminal types don't come back. Go to the sexual offender pages and see what you find. We used to send back to Sicily the Mafioso.

I'm hoping the country can remain united. We pay a terrible price in lives if not, and it wouldn't be long before we fought one another again over water rights, etc.
I saw an interesting remapping of the US based on Quebec leaving Canada, Maine joining Nova Scotia (which makes sense now) NB, & New Foundland. Western provinces of Sask, Alb, Manitoba and part of BC would join with the formerly majority federal lands of Mont. Utah, Dakotas, Wyoming. Southern Cal. would combine with a Northern Mexico government and lower Arizona and some of new mexico and even Texas. South Florida would combine with Cuba. The Nation of Islam would control the Chicago, Dearborn great lakes region. New York City would break from the res tof the state as a city-state. Can't recall if the south rose again? Oh, the Mississippi would change course & exit into the gulf from Texas.Hawaii to Japan, Alaska to

""I respectfully disagree. They will pass the health reform, THEN they will pass amnesty.""
Not to disagree, but the health reform will not exclude illegals for there is no provision to screen them out.
How can we deny care to 12 to 20 million people? We can't.
We can't tell them to go home because they are going to say NO, and then what will we do? Get used to it, they are here to stay and more are coming. The USA is more a job site than country in many ways. Soon, the whip is going to crack and south of hte border thinking is going to start taking hold as control begins to shift. just the way it is. Why would not society change, and why shouldn't it?
