folks don't care about the victims
Published Nov. 6, 2009Views: 839
According to a post on a blog which many are blocked from, there is a lack of caring for the victims of the attack yesterday. The exact post is
"A more telling indication of the true lack of caring about the victims in this attack is the speed at which some have tried to discount the complicity of the political correctness cancer that is killing not only our troops, but our freedom...in particular our freedom of speech."
I find that comment repulsive. Utterly repulsive. How can any person make that assertion, that any American lacks caring about the victims of the horrendous tragedy yesterday. Is this really the way Americans feel? Are there people on GOLO who truly don't care about the victims yesterday? If there are, why?

I have said we are without sufficient information to conclude that it was a jihadistic attack.

but we have armchair quarterbacks lining up to exercise their divine ability to interpret what he was thinking - by saying itr was a jihadistic attack.
i am also offering another possible interpretation - that he cracked and was upset at being harrassed and attacked in his mind and didn't want to go.
I recognize that the Columbine shooters were bullied - but the actions of the bullies don't excuse the shooters. same here.

Time will tell. I would think given the nature of his job and his status in the military, that is going to be very difficult to prove.
In any event, he is entitled to have his case heard and have the best defense he can find. But I doubt he will get off these charges regardless.
