why stepping up security at bragg

Published Nov. 6, 2009

It is not like this scumbag at Ft Hood did not have rights to be on post.  He was a member of the military, although if you see him in his Arab garb you might wonder why he went into the military at all.   Probably for the free education, and look what that did for our soldiers.

Now they say that he is alive.  What a shame.  He will get the best lawyers and will have to be protected to the top levels until they execute him.   I say FIRING SQUAD.

Prayers for our soldiers.

I wondered about the heightened security, also

Being an Arab-American (I think) and awaiting deployment to the Midle East, he lost it. Very similar to when Chapel Hill had a driver attempt to plow down a group of pedistrians. America's fighting in their homelands simply ate a hole in their minds and they ended up off the wall.

Good morning Made

yeah, firing squad......that's realistic

Lock down until they get all the facts. Better safe than sorry. There were 4 planes on 9/11. We weren't prepared then. Just my take on it. I hope they have him in custody.

wonder how the media and the community activist in the White House will "spin" this. From all reports this guy was unhappy with Obama and his inability to make decisions involving Iraq and Afganistan. Locking down Bragg, well again the conspiracy theorist in me would say the gov. is hiding the truth. With this administration I doubt they know the truth when it comes to our troops and the middle east

Fry him, hang him, shoot him...whichever works slowest.

Madeinusa, the person you refer to at UNC was a student and he drove through The Pit, a popular hangout on campus in front of Davis Library and the Student Union...He was "angry." Pfft

The guy driving his car through the Pit was not the same as the one in Texas. As far as the heightened security goes; I would imagine that it is something that is being done at bases across the world. It is more a reactive measure, and probably a procedure in place. They may not be "expecting" any more attacks, but they are just being cautious.

"yeah, firing squad......that's realistic"

Considering he will face a Courts Martial, and last I knew the military not only still had the death penalty, but still had the firing squad...it is very realistic. Of course he deserves more than just a single shot in the chest, but you know we have to be humane to the inhumane.

Hasan attended prayers regularly when he lived outside Washington, often in his Army uniform, said Faizul Khan, a former imam at a mosque Hasan attended in Silver Spring, Md. He said Hasan was a lifelong Muslim.

"I got the impression that he was a committed soldier," Khan said.

yeah but for which side of the war.......Maybe they need to see what this man has been up to. I think the reason for reving up security at Bragg is because until they are satisfied he's really some loony on his own or if he's part of something else.

I'd rather they completely close it down to public if necessary than learn later they had a cell of these so called soldiers in other bases and some event got wiped out there..The have a lot of activity open to public at Bragg. Makes me feel safer in a way. But this is my opinion only....Did the killing spree happen on military property? If so I think he will be tried military. Are they more strict in Leavenworth?
