Lets get this straight..
The Democrats are trying to pass a health care plan written by a committee who says they don't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, signed by a president that also hasn't read it, and smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by ????
What possibly could go wrong?

"Oh please. Let's at least be reasonable, shall we?"/freezy
What do you think is going to happen when 30 - 40 million new patients are dumped into the existing medical infrastructure?
45% of doctors say they will consider retiring or leaving the field if this bill passes. What will happen when you have 40 million new patients and even fewer doctors? What do you think will happen when docotrs are told by the gov't how to treat their patients? What do you think will happen when bundled payments to doctors incentivize them NOT to see patients?
People are going to die if this bill passes. That's not hyperbole - that's a stone cold certainty.

Reid did get an exemption for the state of Nevada to not have to meet the new requires for Medicaid on its own. Nevada will continue to receive Federal dollars for the new requirements while other states will be left on their own to figure out how to pay for it. Course that is in the Senate version of the bill.
This entire thing will end up killing a lot of Americans.

In my sleep, after living a productive life in which I've not become a burden to loved ones with a debilitating illness.
Alzheimer's runs in our family - on both sides.
We lose our eyesight, hearing and minds, but we live f-o-r-e-v-e-r - no one's ever died before their 80th birthday except for my mom who had a birth defect in her heart.
sigh
God bless.
