does anyone here vote independant?

I only vote Independant, is there anyone else out there? Do you realize Demos and Repubs are the same thing? To clean up our society we need outsiders who can think outside the party system.
Do we need voters who only vote their party when they are in the voting box?
The people can turn this country around but we need new leadership, new blood, better candidates, we need you the voter to make things right.

Here in Lee County I believe I was one of 43 that chose to vote the Libertarian ticket that year.

Umm, both liberals and Conservatives do this. Not all but liberals and conservatives but some.

Not recently. But the heros and heroines of the early progressive movement in America ABSOLUTELY were for forced sterilization (not to put too fine a point on it) e.g. Margaret Sanger, Oliver Wendell Holmes who basically said the state had ultimate authority over your body for whatever was for the "common good". John Holdren, Obama's science Czar has advocated population control... As far as gay marriage, puhleeze.... Neither party has that one locked up.. Obama is against a gay marriage amendment...

I generally agree with libertarians on fiscal issues, disagree on some social issues (I see drug enfrocement as a national security issue since most terrorist organizations get their money from drugs) but their foreign policy scares the hell out of me.

That being said, I really don’t know any people that vote for democrats that agree with banning music, video games, or fatty foods. That seems to be more of a northern thing. Or maybe I just haven’t been around any extreme liberals lately.
I wish there were more libertarian candidates to choose from.
