hero of the year
Published Nov. 4, 2009Views: 234
I'm sure this officer is going to be up for the Hero of the Year award. The video clearly shows the suspect calm with his hands on the dash of the squad car trying to ask the officer something, when the officer walks up to him and use his taser on his neck.
My hat goes off to Chief for asking the FBI to investigate this matter. There were about 10 officers at the scene they all need to be investigated as well.

because this is all the department has released. Based on the demeanor of the suspect before he got tased I would bet the farm that he was calm and compliant all they way threw and the department doesnt want to show that. They want to leave a little escape route for this dirt bag cop, but dont worry justice will be served the fbi will get to the bottom of this.

yes and he would have been arrested and charged with doing that. That would not excuse the tazing of a no longer resisting suspect.

Which, by the way, kills your credibility.
Oh, and if someone breaks in your home and is threatening your family I bet you would run to dial 911 so fast my head would spin, and you know what they will be there to help... To bad they dont' know how you really feel.
I think people like you shouldn't be ALLOWED to call for help, because it is hypocritical when you do

Strange....yet the chief has asked for an FBI investigation to see if the suspects civil rights were violated through excessive use of force...so which is it - the department is "covering" for the officer (which NO department will ever do), or are the doing the right thing by asking an impartial LEO organization to determine the facts?
Bash us all you want - we're here to stay.

well hopefully if more people become aware of the police problem they will become more vigilant and start carrying camcorders with them so they can help expose the bad cops and their fellow officers that refuse to turn them in.
