a real "foxxy" lady

First, Congresswoman Virginia Foxx R-NC says that to call the murder of Matthew Shepherd a hate crime is a ridiculous "hoax".
Then yesterday, when talking about the proposed health bill, the Congresswoman says that
" I believe we have more to fear from the potential of that bill passing than we do from any terrorist right now in any country."
Simply amazing.

My apologies - I made the assumption that everybody works and pays into SSA. My wife has been paying into SSA her whole adult life also and will be receiving benefits for what she has paid in. Her benefits will exceed the survivor benefits that whe would receive from me, therefore she will receive NO benefit from SSA upon my death (except the whopping $255.00) that would not even pay for an urn for cremation. THEFT.

Apparently reading comprehension is not a strong suit for you. I KNOW that it is not an investment made on my behalf - if it WERE, then the money would go to MY family. Instead, it has been stolen from me throughout my entire working career and I will probably never see it again. THAT is my point - it is wealth distribution but it was sold as a protection for people for when they are no longer working. So it is either unintended or it was a LIE to begin with.

Social Security is a current payment system, not an investment made on your behalf. It's not like a pension or 401k. Your assertion has no merit.

When you allow people that do not earn what they need to vote for people that will take it from someone else and give it to them, THEN those of us that work and desire Freedom will always lose at the ballot. Approximately 50% of all US adults pay NO income taxes. Those that pay no income taxes will continue to vote for politicians that will not require them to EARN their own way. You do realize that the government subsidies for insurance is actually being paid for by a taxPAYER, don't you??
