great news for stephanie after months of acl surgery/recovery...

For those of you who have followed these months and months of BLOGs about Stephanie and her ACL Accident, Surgery, Therapy, etc...she got the most excited and long awaited news from her Surgeon yesterday!!! She is released and able to do everything she did before without limitations YEAH!!! Originally she was told it would take 9 to 12 months to get to this point in her recovery BUT hard work, determination, limitations, etc has paid off for her and she can do it all again!!! He does not feel her being put in an ACL brace is best...Quads are strong as well as the hamstring...ACL feels wonderful and back together. She has had no pain nor discomfort. She has stayed in practice as a Manager of the Cross Country Team and was able to run...lightly jog...on flat surfaces the last couple months plus stayed occupied in her Karate minus the kicking. He said she would most likely to tear her left ACL before her Right again UGH...Yeah not what I want to think about nor she *LOL*
I would like to Thank Dr Murry and the wonderful Staff at Triangle Orthopeadics...they spell it this way...something about it being the Greek way!!! This is one wonderful group of people!!! And Nicole who was Stephanie's primary Physical Therapist. She was a runner and knew the importance of being able to run again.
Thank You So Much to so many of you for all your Positive Thoughts, Prayers, Words of Encouragement, and so much more since that March 12th Race that began all this. I was able to hide a lot of my fears and worries here and be a good cheering section while she climbed each new road because of many of You...My Friends!!!

She is young, so she can recover from these types of things faster and better than most of us up here could do.
