tru blue in wake county: the return of the king

My My my.....I go away for three months (federal training at Glynco) and come back to so much hostility.....Cop haters, Cop lovers, Cop Groupies *Sessy I luv you*
Now, down to business.......recently I saw a blog critical of my brothers in sisters with regard to the recent $850,000 award to the former SF student during the Robin Sage fiasco. Comments from the local cop hater (probably failed the POPAT hence his hostility), suggest that there was some malice involved in the part of the officer...I dont know, I was not there.
Here is what I do know. Robin Sage culminates the Special Forces Qualification Course conducted at Camp Mackall, this being Phase IV of training. Under the auspice of 1st Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group. How do I know this - I WAS THERE from that respect.
Did you know that the Battalion Commander (Marrs) was promoted following this incident? regardless that a 15-6 investigation (disinterested officer appointed to conduct an internal investigation) absolved the organization of any negligence. The "fixes" that were instituted were fast and furious. 1st Bn now has a LEO liaison, a green beret that is also a sworn officer, that coordinates with all LEO agencies that RS occurs in. Role players - including police, now wear a colored arm band to let students know who "in play." Amongst a host of others.
I read praises, bashes, and general love for my brothers and sisters behind the badge. One thing I do know - the king has returned...
Gandalla - still live with mother?

Yes, I'm intimately familiar with the statute. That's why I knew that your earlier claim - that you could impound a car for possession with intent - was false.

I think your perspective is right on the money. Personally, I've never had any experiences with LEO chaplains but did when I was military - was not impressed. Remember, a military chaplain is still uniformed and still ultimately must obey both thier chosen god and the man who writes thier Officer Evaluation Report.

Most may not if they approach others from a strictly religious persective/world view however; with the right training and concern for all peoples I think they could. The approach would have to stem from the human perspective and the human spirit. What I mean by this is we all hurt and trauma/tragedy affect us all and we all need comfort and sympathy from time to time. Hopefully this is what this organization is all about. Have you had any experiences with it???
