mountains showing fall colors

Ariel just got in from the Mountains and took some beautiful pictures of the Mountains showing off the Fall colors!!! She went up to see her puppy Jet's new off-spring *smiles* They are just to cute!!! Gosh hard to believe Jet is over a year old and now a Daddy to 3 litters of new puppies!!!
When we lived in Mitchell County the most beautiful time of the year was Fall...a drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway which we lived right off of was always such a beautiful sight to see. Being in Little Switzerland...4200 feet high in the Mountains Ahhh.

When we would have to drive home we would drive the Blue Ridge Parkway...but those Winter months when the Parkway was closed YIKES on the road we would have to take along side of the Mountain. Talk about scary...

This is kinda wild...specially since we live so close now! We usually go up every July 4th. Most awesome fireworks anywhere!

Our yard here is filled with lots of colors...I took some this weekend which I will add tomorrow too. I wanted to take a walk in the Park this weekend and catch a lot of pictures BUT raining heavy here Saturday and today just chilly out there.
