roads safer for school busses? i have a good start...

This has been on my mind for some time now. I drive home on 440 in rush hour traffic. It's crazy dangerous and no one in their right mind should ever do it, but alas, the bills don't pay themselvles.
But what really bothers me is that I see SCHOOLBUSSES driving on 440 at this time. They are going 55 in a 65 and yes, I know they are big and yellow, but people drive right up behind them not noticing they are going 10 under speed limit and 15-20 under the flow of traffic and have to SLAM on their breaks to keep from rear ending them...causing hte people behind them to do the same. It just makes a mess of traffic and is super dangerous for the school buss and the line of cars that just had to slam on their breaks on 440. It's a wreck waiting to happen.
Why in the world are school busses on 440 during rush hour? Sometimes they are empty, but sometimes I see kids in them. If you want to keep the kids safe, get the slowing moving buss off 440 during rush hour. They should be confined to backroads after 4:00.
Oh, and it happens in the morning too. I go to work at about 7-7:30 and the traffic is not so bad yet so i dont notice it as much, but still. Why are kids on a big buss going under the speed limit? crazy!
And dont even get me started on those "official school transportation" SUV going crazy slow and not even in the right hand lane. They are going to die!

Are the school buses changing three or four lanes without signaling? Are the bus drivers talking on their cell phones? Are the school buses breaking suddenly because they realize they missed their exit?
