New York — WRAL.com accepted the national Edward R. Murrow Award for best Web site from the Radio-Television News Directors Association during a ceremony in New York on Monday.
The Web site was honored in the television large-market category.
Monday’s ceremony was held at the Grand Hyatt New York
The RTNDA has been presenting Edward R. Murrow Awards for outstanding achievements in electronic journalism since 1971.
Congratulations WRAL! I am so proud of you!

It's really a pain when you want to read a story and move the cursor only to be interupted by a danged 'rollover' pop-up ad.
There's always room to improve content, but even other sites that have more content don't necessarily have better content. And I get annoyed with some of the other stations' web designs and complexity of navigation.
Congrats, WRAL! Never stop trying to improve what is already a very good news website!
