Siroccco is a kakapo. Kakapo are listed as critically endangered. There are only 124 of them in the world. Sirocco has a respiratory illness that made it necessary for him to be raised by humans. As such he has imprinted on humans. Apparently this BBC reporter looked like a good mate. :D
Only on the BBC LOL--click here for funny video
"Sirocco looked exactly like a green budgie except his body was the size of a terrier, his elephant-grey feet as large as a grown man’s hands. The vivid green feathers on his body camouflaged him against the backdrop of the forest. The feathers on his face were delicate and furry, like rodent whiskers."
Wiki click here for more information about kakapos (yes, I know Wiki isn't a good resource page, but it is easy and I'm lazy)

I have never seen a baby macaw before. I think that they are beautiful as adults, so they must be cute as babies. :D

True. It gained notoriety when a teacher found that everyone in his class had used the same wrong fact from Wikipedia. But when someone finds something wrong, they can fix it. That's the beauty of it. Studies have shown that Wikipedia is as accurate as the Encyclopedia Britannica.
