We live in a society where its one size and if you don't fit that size; you're fat. That there's no in between. Women (and you men) struggle with body image and are so self conscious that they are willing to die for the perfect body. I look NOTHING like the models and images were assaulted with everyday. I have curves, I have the little stomach pooch from pregnancy. My body is not "perfect" by any means, and I have struggled for the past 3 years to keep up with societies ideal image. I work out about 3-4 days a week and eat healthy and do all that good stuff. I've come to accept my body, "flaws" and all, because they represent the most beautiful thing in this world to me: my little boy. And as long as he loves me and knows I love him; I can live with my body.
After reading the article, my eyes were opened to something new. That women (and men) don't have to fit into that stereotype. I don't know what more to add to this other than I'm happy that a fashion magazine saw fit to break the mold and put REAL women, not stick thin, sickly looking women in their articles. So GOLO, what do you consider "beautiful" or the "perfect body type"??
