ask anything: our final guest
Published Sep. 28, 2009Views: 510
Hi GOLO,
I'm sorry to report that Ask Anything is coming to end. Our final guest is Gov. Bev Perdue, who was one of our most-requested guests. You can submit questions for her all this week. Her answers will be posted on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
I started Ask Anything on April 28, 2008 with the hopes that it would give you a chance to ask 10 questions of people in power. Since then, we've featured more than 70 guests in various fields, including politics, entertainment, sports, education, etc.
I hope you take a few minutes to look back through some of the interviews. I'd be interested to know which one was your favorite.
While Ask Anything was my idea, you were the ones who kept it alive with your great questions and suggestions for guests we should feature. A huge thanks to you!
As for me, I'm going to be a focusing on a new project. I'm now part of the WRAL Investigates team, which includes reporters Cullen Browder and Kelcey Carson and producer Randall Kerr.
We're going to be chasing down stories about fraud, waste, corruption, etc. Feel free to send tips and story ideas to us at investigates@wral.com.
As always, thanks for your support and kind words. I really appreciate it.

My question would be how "open and transparent" was a lottery vote in the middle of the night with two NO votes unavailable to attend, and were promised that a vote would not happen, and you broke the tie.
As for the next part of your career, go ask the SBI how much money Sheriff Johnny Williams in Warren County got to install an AFIS machine in the Sheriff's Office, and then ask Johnny where the machine is.

Pretty straight forward question but we know it won't get asked.
