squirrel problem - need help
Published Sep. 25, 2009Views: 1201
I have a squirrel in my kitchen exaust vent.
I tried turning on the fan and banging on the thing to get him out.
Nothing.
I'm trying to think of something noxious I can burn on the stove or microwave that will smoke him out without driving ME out too.
Any ideas?

sandra - he isn't stuck.
The problem with a rubber snake is that I would have to put it at the only exit. (Unless I start taking suff apart.)
I just tried burning the hell out of a bag of microwave popcorn. Nothing.

2. Go in the back yard
3. Pick up dog poo
4. Put poo in bag
5. Take bag back in house
6. Set bag in BROILER pan - ON top of the range.
7. Set bag on fire
8. Stand ready with fire extinguisher just in case/
9. When dog poo scent hits squirrel nostrils he will get scared and run out the top of vent.
10. Cover open vent top with mesh wire to prevent other furry friends from visiting.
11. Please record and post results so I can have a good laugh.

Also, if you try to use food or something to lure him out, he'll prolly take it back to the vent, especially if he/she's nesting there.
