WRAL's Sky 5 helicopter crew filmed some amazing footage of the battle the Raleigh Fire Dept. fought yesterday. Sadly, the story ends in tragedy and my heart goes out to the family and friends of the person who died. But my heart bursts with pride at the efforts made by the firemen!! Especially the man on the roof with the chainsaw. .... He makes me proud to call him my cousin!

I've said it before, I'll say it again. These are our everyday heroes. Policemen. Firefighters. Rescue Workers. Soldiers. 911 Dispatchers. Hospital workers... Thank them if you get a chance!!!
