why are the democrats lying to us?

Democrats are running around saying that the people who oppose the House Health Care “Reform” Bill are “misinformed”. Barack Obama claims to want an honest debate on the issue. Okay, let’s start with some facts:
Fact 1:
Barack Obama is on the record as favoring limiting end of life care as a means of decreasing health care costs. (That’s also known as “rationing”.)

Fact 2:
Barack Obama is on record advocating his ultimate goal of a single payer health care plan. Under a single payer health care plan, the government controls the health care industry as it does in Great Britain.

Fact 3:
There is nothing in the House Bill (H.R. 3200) that limits the power of the federal government to ration health care.
H.R. 3200
Fact 4:
House democrats recently defeated an amendment to the bill which would have restricted the power of the government to limit care.
The amendment, offered by Republican Rep.Phil Gingry of Georgia, read as follows:
(k) Construction - Nothing in this section shall be construed to allow any federal employee or political appointee to dictate how a medical provider practices medicine.(I heard in passing on Fox News last night that a similar amendment has been offered 3 times in the Senate and been rejected by the democrat overlords each time. I was unable to confirm that.)
These are the facts.
Now, the question isn’t whether government control of health care is a good thing or a bad thing. The question is, if we are going to have an honest debate about health care, why are the democrats lying about what they want to do? Why are they lying about the people who have the facts? Why can’t they tell us the truth, and debate what they really want to do?

#1: He said about spending a lot of money with somebody TERMINAL illness: "you just get into some very difficult moral issues".
What you said: "Barack Obama is on the record as favoring limiting end of life care as a means of decreasing health care costs." is a lie.
#2: We'll only get to single payer if the private insurance companies can't compete. If we do get to single payer, then perhaps we won't have the worst health care in the modern world.
#3: Huh? That doesn't make any sense.
#4: Of course somebody is going to determine what is covered and what isn't. That's how health insurance works. Would you like Botox injections and tummy tucks covered, as well?
You should turn off Fox news. It's rotting your brain.

There are no "lies" here, except from you. So I guess I have to ask: if you think single payer is so great, why are you lying about it?

Assume they have read the bill. Why aren't they saying: "No, there won't be rationing. It's on page 25." "No, we won't undercut the insurance companies and put them out of business. It's on page 100." "No, we won't be involved in treatment. It's on page 67."
They can't say that because none of that stuff is in there.
