Last night from 7-8 pm, Time Warner Cable ran a "Call-In Town hall meeting with US Congressman David Price". It was broadcast as a Live event for you to call in & ask questions.

Congressman Price's award-winning public affairs show, Keeping in Touch, will air live Monday, August 10th at 7pm on Channel 24 on Time Warner Cable.
On his show Congressman Price will take questions from callers. You can ask a question on the air by calling 1-800-849-0632 during the live broadcast. Price will answer as many questions as time allows.

It was completely "Staged". When you called the number, you got an automated message that there was "NO LIVE Broadcast at this time."
Can you believe the Gall of this guy....Price finally agrees to meet with his constituents via TWC Cable access chan 24, and it's all a "FRONT". I was watching them answer a call, & tell the caller to turn the TV down and everything, but it was all fake, probably pre-recorded calls.
I even called the WRAL Newsroom number. I talked to Amanda, who was very nice on the phone. Kudo's Amanda @ WRAL. Anyway, I informed them of the congressmen's town hall meeting as it was happening.... I don't know if WRAL can monitor TWC or not, but hopefully they will question Mr. Price on this.
Call him today and ask him about that. He is refusing to meet with the people he represents.

I have called his office this morning, and as usual, I got nothing but voicemails. I also called Richard Burr's office & Marianna told me that she was not aware of this & she would inform Richard. I have also reported this to several Major news organizations.
Folks....THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

There were 'Bush haters' attending the Bush town hall meetings? Don't think so; not with the level of pre-screening and policy of only inviting Bush supporters to his 'open' town hall meetings.

I think all this ruckus started when all the straight ballots were passed and people had no idea who they were actually placing in office in the first place.

The Democrats are ignoring the will of the people and they are ignoring the VOICE of the people. That's why we are having all this ruckus.
When your little son or daughter ignores you when you tell them not to run into the road, what do you do???? You raise your voice a little louder... if that doesn't get their attention, you yell & scream. That's the point we are at now. And if you're a GOOD parent, when they continue to ignore your instructions, and run into the road anyway, you wear that little fannie out! They'll cry & pout...but they'll be safe.

Really, I remember when the UNC deal went down with Tancredo as somebody mentioned, and when Ann Coulter got a pie thrown at her, I remember the Code Pink freaks disrupting congressional sessions and when they went to Bush's farm to scream at everybody that drove by and I remember these being discussed hear on GOO, but I can't recall once, not one time you speaking out against it.
I don't remember you or any lefty for that matter saying anything about mobs or disrespectful or anything else along those lines.
But when the shoe is on the other foot liberals all the way from local blogs to the White House scream foul, why is that?

I don't deny you heard what you heard, what I am questioning is your conclusion. Is the ONLY way you would have gotten that message is if the event wasn't actually happening at all?
