early development in young girls | a conversation with wral's amanda lamb

If you're the parent of a young girl, chances are you are well aware of how early many seem to be developing. Some 13-year-olds can easily pass for 21 and elementary school aged girls are being mistaken for teenagers.
It is something I am concerned about as a mother with two young daughters, and particularly with my third grader.
If you're experiencing this you'll defintely want to watch WRAL reporter Amanda Lamb's story next week, which explores what's causing this early development and some of the challenges it poses for mothers, daughters and doctors.
Amanda and I discussed some of what she learned while working on the story in one of our studios this morning which you can watch here.
So be sure to watch or set your DVR for WRAL's 6 p.m. newscast on Monday July 20, 2009.
And come back and tell us about your experiences.

Seriously, quit feeding your children processed food and meat and milk laced with growth hormones and antibiotics. It isn't natural... And quit buying them sweat shorts with "Juicy" and "Booty" on the trunk side... The Prostitot line adds at least four years to little girls..
