We're here!! At long last, we have finally stayed in the new house for 2 nights.
It's WONDERFUL!! So quiet and peaceful. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my new shower! And being able to sip my coffee and watch my horses, it just doesn't get much better.
We have found some kinks we have to work out. For one thing, our phone company does not offer high speed internet here. Looks like we'll have to go with Time Warner for internet. Also, we had our phones turned on at the new house yesterday. We didn't realize they would disconnect our phones at the old house, so now we have no email and our old phones simply say, "Disconnected or no longer in service." That's NOT a good thing for business. So while I type this, I'm on hold with Embarq to try and remedy both situations.
Other than that, things are going GREAT. Moving is a beast, but a necessary evil. We've made a big push and now it's just moving small things and then sorting and cleaning.
Hopefully we'll get the phone/internet things settled today and then I can be back online (when time permits, of course). But I did want to pop in with a quick update!
