Toot, toot! Yep, that's me tooting our horn. I wanted to take a minute and congratulate my co-workers who were recently honored in some local "best of" categories.
Independent Weekly recently released its annual "Best of the Triangle" list. WRAL Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel won top honors, with Anchors David Crabtree and Bill Leslie coming in as finalists.
Greg has taken top honors with David as a finalist since the category emerged in 2006, according to a story I saw on our company's Web site.
Also, Metro Magazine recently posted its MetroBravo awards. Each category had a Standing Ovation, MetroBravo and Honorable Mention ranking.
