Well that was supposed to be 3

If you want to give body measurments feel free.

I am 60-40-50

And have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths

1300+ (double wide) on 4+ acres (wooded)

morsdeis, what do you live in?

Exactly one eighth of an acre. Fortunately we have a two-story house, so we still have a little land leftover to have a lawn.

I'm just shy of 1600 sq. ft. in the main house, studio is 320 sq. ft., on an acre, privacy fenced, pool, and lots of play room for the kids and dogs.

2600 sq. ft. if you include the basement which is framed but no dry wall. We have 3.59 acres in the country my neighbors cannot see us nor we them. Really private not a mansion at all but it is ours!

1400 ranch on .25 acres paid for.

"Mors, you got a good deal on that house."

You have no idea. My gf and I bought it when we were in our 20's. It was in a reeeaaaal bad neighborhood and needed a lot of work.

The seller lived up North and was renting it out previously. He wanted $69K. I talked him down to $49K.

Only a few years went by and there was a race for beachfront property in Pinellas County. The neighborhood cleaned up and within 5 years of buying it was worth over 6 times what I paid for it :)

2800 sq. feet of house on 5.4 acres of land - lots of room for the pups and very quiet - LUV it!

WOW, that's great!

"morsdeis, what do you live in?"

I'm in an apartment. I'm only here temporarily.

Im bad with knowing the figures, but I think its 2300sf. Not sure of the land, but it's big enough to have the inground pool, and the workshop for out business...I still want my 33 acres, and my dream house..

Oh, and Im glad you clarified Bubbles, that you have 3 RUNNING vehichles...LOL

22,050 Sq. Ft. Family room 24 x 19 Living room 18 x 16

"22,050 Sq. Ft. Family room 24 x 19 Living room 18 x 16"

Holy Cow!!! Do you live in the Taj Mahal?! :p

I have a little over 800 sq ft in a new condo I recently bought as a first time homebuyer.

1700 square foot 75 year old house built by my grandfather, 3 acres of land, and a deed in my pocket.

Counting the basement which is finished, a little over 2200 square feet on about 1.5 acres of land.

Oh you meant me?!?! No no. That's my dream house.

Mine? Is that with or without the flap open?

1486 sq ft on one acre. Mobile home. All paid for.

we have 2200 sf. .9 some thing acre of land, 2 cars, 1 bike, and a boat

We probably have more square footage in our carport with workroom, shop, and another shop/shed than we do the house. LOL

1300 sq ft, 1 acre wooded lot w/creek

6 yrs new

going up for rent soon :)

(moving into a 2700 sq ft house, not sure the property size but the same creek and woods like mine)

I have a 27,000 foot octo wide mobile home. As soon as I paid one off- I'd buy another, and weld it on.

I love my home- "that's why I made her the queen of my octo wide trailer with the polyester curtains and the redwood deck..".

I live in a 1978 volvo wagon on a parking deck in downtown Raleigh. Every comfortable seats with back arch support, good AM/FM radio. Get up with the sun, go to Hardee's for all you want coffee and to wash up, then to the public library for some reading & net, then to lunch, then to Barnes & Noble for more reading, then back to 315 1/2 Volvo to sleep.

Not to fret for me, I'm hoping to move to a space in Cary soon. I won't become a snob either.

I'd say about 30'ft space sitting on about 70'ft. Don't have company over often, but the "little motor home" is nice, as I call it, and be it ever so humble...

What is the ideal in green space for a single person, a couple and with two kids?

If you count my son's trucks, we have 7 running vehicles (and a dune buggy that we are restoring that does run but is not road ready).

I don't know why the men in my family think they are supposed to have 2 or 3 vehicles a piece!

I have 1300 sq ft with .57 acres.

I want 2300 sq ft home with 10-20 acres with a huge concrete sound barrier wall all the way around my property.

Im with Hilikus here..... should know that but I dont :(

But my DoubleWide has 5 good size BR's, 3 full baths, living room, family room, dining room, big kitchen, small laundry room. And all of this sits on 1 1/2 acers of land. Back yard fenced in for the doggies!!!

I have enough to clean as it is I would NOT want a bigger house right now.....LOL

oh and this home is also filled with lots of love!!!!!

Right now, I have 1800 square foot of home, The house was built in the 50's, sitting on 50 acres (only 3 acres are mine, but the rest belong to my father, and are controled by me.)

In a few months, I hope to be moving back to where I really call 'home'. Call me crazy, but I am renting out my house, (to a family member) for just enough to cover the payments, taxes, and insurance. And I'll be moving into a 2000 sq ft double wide, (that my deddy bought just for me, but I'll have to pay him $300 a mo rent until he desides to go ahead and let me have it) it is on 4 acres.

2300 sq ft....3.19 acres

con 300 a month is a good deal ..... yea I would jump all over that deal!!!!

the good thing about a mobile home is you can move it around. This also means so can your spouse- as much as mine gets mad at me I would have to put low jack on mine to keep her from hooking up to it and moving somewhere else.

Pretty large. 5500 sq feet, including the deck and basement. 12 acres. Beach house 3500 sq ft. Good thing there are 5 kids to help with the cleanup!

VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY lucky and blessed. I should have a party?

"I want 2300 sq ft home with 10-20 acres with a huge concrete sound barrier wall all the way around my property."

plan on keeping prisoners there?? you up in a tower yelling at the kids- "stop hitting your sister or I will shoot ya!.. I mean it!!"

"Pretty large. 5500 sq feet, including the deck and basement. 12 acres. Beach house 3500 sq ft. Good thing there are 5 kids to help with the cleanup!"

this off the efforts of your hubby or yourself? or both?

Both, and a nice plot of land we bought from my parents. He's a builder (hubby), so it's a kind of "showplace" for his work...But the kitchen...now that's alllllllllll mine!(as it should be)

Tidbit, my husband always says he wants to build a double fence around the property and have dobermans running the perimeter.

He is a very social person; he just doesnt' like people messing with his "stuff".

very cool- I wish I knew how to build homes/stuff.. I am good at tearing stuff up however.

I'm very blessed! My deddy does alot for me. He is very angry about my situation, and knows that it is hard for me to keep everything running on my own. PLUS, He fusses all the time because I drive 55 miles each way to work. So now, I'll soon be moving 18 miles from work, and I'll be back close to ALL of my friends! (I usually put 150 mile a day on my cars, just going to work, and visiting friends!)

2800 sqft house on a farm

yea, GGT, so is he. He just fell through the ceiling a few weeks ago. Don't ask.

You know what they say about being married to a contractor? Your house is always the last one to get anything done.

SnatchingTurtle, we literally built our house as a weekend project! Took a while but saved a lot of $$$$.

1400 sf DW on 2 fenced-in acres for the dogs, at the end of a private road, 2 cars, 1 pickup, 12 x 16 deck, covered front porch, lots of woods

That's great, Wabi! Ours took a weekend, as well. A year and a half of them!

It's our dream house, and yea, we'll live here until we die. Which is fine, I'm perfectly content waking up here. There is NOTHING I don't like about my home, and it is a HOME, not just a house. In the end, it doesn't matter how big or small, it's the people and the love inside it that count. Our house is always filled with people and laughter, good food and great times, just like I grew up with. Everyone here sounds pretty happy and content and PROUD, as they should be. Your home is your castle!

about we have a 32x76 on two acres. My 'double wide' is bigger than lots of houses I have been in.

My husband calls our home his castle. LOL.

We started building in November and finished in July to clarify. Many weekends.

Just because some are called mobile homes, doesn't mean you can actually move them yourselves.

And I almost didn't say the autos were running, but caught myself cause I knew someone would say something.

And we have 2 riding mowers, one push mower, some chain saws and a dirtbike.

We have a little over 3500 square feet with another 1100 of deck, screened porch and bar/grill area. It is a nice house but on only about a half acre. We are thinking about going much smaller and one level, luckily I work for a builder.

"And we have 2 riding mowers, one push mower, some chain saws and a dirtbike"

Add a four-wheeler to this, and it sounds like my house.
