Ok, this has to be said, until today I have never really looked at Angela's profile, not indepth anyway.
I went to it, read only the first page of comments and was laughing so hard my boss walked out of his office. I do NOT know how Angela handles all the petty school yard behavior and still finds the strength to come in everyday and try and make GOLO an enjoyable successful tool
On the very first page of her comment section alone was over 1/2 dozen comments like this:
Angela - I cannot beleive you are letting this stay up
Angela - Look at what so and so posted
Angela - You should shoot down their ID.
Good Lord, are most of us over 18? It reads like I am back working elementary school again... I was truly in utter disbelief and without naming names a lot of posters should be embarrassed... and guess what, I don't mean the ones posting stupid stuff on their blogs... I mean the adults tattling!
When I was teaching I had a rule about tattling, the same one I have for my daughters. If you tell on someone you better make sure that it is for somethign that could either hurt the person or someone else, because if not, you will get the same punishment (time out/silent lunch) that the person you are telling on gets.
We are adults, if you don't like what someone says on their blog, close your eyes, don't read it... but Angela has this whole site to manage in addition to whatever else she has to do at WRAL - Do you really think all the tattling is necessary? She has got to want to pull her hair out somedays
Before posting that silly stuff on her page anymore, ask yourself first, what would I say if my kid came up to me and said "Little Johnny said I was ugly" Well I know what i would tell my kids - IGNORE it
By the way, if you comment on this blog, please do not start out with
"well if so and so didn't do/say/act.... " That is exactly what I am talking about
