what's your definition of love?

What's your definition of Love?
I don't think there is any right or wrong answer to this question. I think each persons definition of love changes with each successful/failed relationship, birth of a child, and lose of a loved one. I think definitions change as we grow older and realize the things in life that are most important.
Right now at the age of 28, love to me is defined as the emotional connection between two people. The longing to be in that special someone's presence. Love is unconditional.
Love is all encompassing.
Love is compromising without regrets.
Love is not selfish or self centered.
Love is giving.
Love is tried and true.
What's your definition of Love??

Hardships also add new descriptors and depth to love. It's something that grows over time and experiences add to it's depth and understanding throughout our whole lives.
